check out John Green's book signing streams, where he would spend hours signing like 100k copies while chatting. he had a whole system where they send him blank pages and he sends them back signed and they fold them into the books.

i don't blacklist because sometimes i disagree with what mods think is an underage character. i accept that, if i want to see the ones where she's just a little slim, i have to also see the ones where she has a pacifier. whatever. my problem.

Oh they should definitely post on both and more, every creator should post on multiple sites all the time. It will save your bacon when one of them dies. But some people just don't realize this

Also the old forums that are ancestors of Kiwifarms used to document internet drama in threads dedicated to particular stories. But that's if it was deemed interesting by those communities, which FurAffinity drama may not have been.

Honestly i'd buy it. You don't get stuff like this when you buy from big business, if they get a bad batch they can afford not to sell it (or they can't afford the lawsuit if they do sell it). But a "jpeg crunch edition because it came like this from the printer" is the indie jank that i love!

I've seen a couple of AI artists get booed off of furry spaces. This was on Twitter and Bluesky where such things are necessary, they wouldn't even stand a chance in more moderated spaces like Mastodon, FurAffinity(?) or e621

It's becoming one of the few good corners of the internet. Among other things, it's a market of people who pay for real artists, real creativity, and have the appropriate hostility to AI art - and that alone is fucking sweet, it makes the community much more interesting for everyone

Yeah but every file is named random numbers, isn't it? Depending on how many youve got, you can easily forget which is which. I found that out the hard way. With the program you can have the title, and it can include the date.
