Why is it so difficult to build friendships..?

Another bad night sleep. I can’t stop waking up in the middle of the night. I know the biggest problem is that I give in to picking up my phone and checking to see if anyone has messaged me… which leads to seeing what people have been saying on BlueSky… which leads to playing phone games. *sigh* 💔🐉💔

To combat the loneliness, I've been trying to also combat the anxiety as they go hand in hand for me.

One thing I find difficult lately is dealing with loneliness. Despite my social anxiety, I don't like being alone. I've opened up to a lot of people, but the feeling that they don't want to be around me is what's destroying me. Idk how to express that without coming off as desperate tho..
