I am following your experience with this. We keep trying to “shop local”, but I’ve really noticed that there’s very little “local” options when it comes to choosing very specific products. Even the big box stores don’t have their sh!t together when it comes to inventory.

I’m totally tailoring my feed to exclude as much impersonal content from non-follows as possible. I am trying to make it a “social” network. But since so few folks that I know have joined, it’s pretty quiet. I also follow some non-personal accounts that I have muted, so they don’t get in my feed.

We had Darrell’s parents over for a week, and they leave tomorrow. It’s been great catching up and playing “42”. Also, Andy and Carol came out on Thanksgiving day and we had a wonderful dinner together.
