More big games and, weirdly, fewer games that matter.

I agree with this. They'll get Rohl sacked too, eventually.

Grabbers (2012). Not too scary, but really good fun.

Departure from UK airports is grand. Pubs pulling pints at five am and all that. Arrival at smaller UK airports is shocking: waiting for the stairs, herded to the border up hill and down dale, the border(!), luggage nightmare, out into a bus car park through the smoking area. Hate it.

Totally normalised in Spain too. A central requirement of a playground is a bar/cafe.

Seconded. Mine turn fifteen in a few months. Easily the best money I ever spent.

It was, but at no time was it easy. It's the sort of thing one can only truly appreciate when it's over; like climbing a mountain. Imagine performing or conducting? Must be exhausting.

Great advice. I'm a classical music novice, but going to the Ring Cycle in Munich over about 8 days was exhilirating. The fans! The costumes! The drama! One of my top 5 music experiences. It sounds stupid, but Brünnhilde's entrance was the bravest thing I've ever seen a person do.

You've already been told to see it live, but for casual listening it's vital to get a great recording. Google works. I found the Decca Classics / Georg Solti conducted Ring Cycle to be a revelation, and I can stream it on Tidal.

Holders of bank equity further up the capital structure were handsomely bailed out. Preference share holders, bond holders and so on.

Shareholders were rinsed; gov put in capital higher up the structure. They didn’t buy shares from anyone. New shares were created. I still hold mine that I bought in 2006. Value has gone from, like, £1000 —> £1. Gov did much better than that. Also, cash machines worked throughout. Not bad, not great

Serious. I’m punctured. Torn apart. Burst. Going to crawl home like a jolly slug.
