It was a powerful weekend working USAA’s Poppy Wall of Honor with over 600,000 poppy flowers representing the fallen since WWI. Nothing can prepare you for the sight of 20 gold star mothers visiting the wall with their son’s pictures pinned to their shirts and tears streaming down their faces.

I was thrilled to vote for my friend @jeffkitner.bsky.social at Fretz Park Library. Jeff worked with our neighborhood to put in a new park that is hugely popular with the kids. He’s dedicated to public service and has delivered results on the Dallas Park and Recreation Board.

A cabinet and top administration positions filled with sycophants instead of experts. While it’ll be a rough few years, I do believe a reinvigorated Democratic Party will come back strong in the Midterms and lay the groundwork to a sane and functioning government that serves all its citizens.
