Every Thanksgiving I always think about my grandma’s (may she rest in peace) deviled eggs. I don’t know if it’s a Great Depression thing or what, but she would grind any old veggies she had into a relish and mix them with the yolks. I do not recommend crunchy deviled eggs.

Here are some pictures I took while surveying last Friday’s tornado damage in Marion, IL (EF4) and Morganfield, KY (EF3). Beyond thankful no one die in either of these tornadoes.

Personally the only more severe tornado damage I’ve personally seen was in Bremen, KY, after 12/10/21.

My favorite genre of Christmas TV specials is the ones that were obviously filmed in the summer but everyone has to pretend it’s cold and snowy.

Being both a Purdue fan and a Colts fan means I’ve watched a lot of awful football this fall. At least the Colts are kinda entertaining when they’re losing.

Had an interesting trip to the Cairo (Illinois, not Egypt) library today to do some weather history research for the 100th anniversary of the Tri-State Tornado. The library is beautiful!
