As expected, throwing more data and compute at the problem is not viable any more.
- Running out of data (and synthetic data isn't good enough)
- Exponential compute costs for sub-linear improvement.
Fine if you've got cash to burn, but that doesn't last. @garymarcus.bsky.social was/is right.

Als je als overheid op elke telefoon een stuk software (waarvan jij de werking dicteert) verplicht om elk bericht te lezen en te vergelijken met een database / hash, dan LEES JE ELK BERICHT.

Als je als overheid op elke telefoon een stuk software (waarvan jij de werking dicteert) verplicht om elk bericht te lezen en te vergelijken met een database / hash, dan LEES JE ELK BERICHT.
