Along with @lemon.rip's reply, there are several similar seams, although the only "potentially useful" one is outside the castle, in front of the infamous moat door. You can imagine the potential here. We tried a lot to hyperspeed stuff to moat door skip without PU speed, but no success... yet...

there's actually two bodies of water here and they share an edge at exactly z=-669, but the code that checks whether mario is in a water box uses an exclusive comparison (like, less than '<' as opposed to less than or equal to '≤')
