Hey, so I know I’m “just a dermatologist” but vaccines don’t cause autism.

POV: You worked your entire life to become a board-certified dermatologist… only for your patients to look at you and ask if you’re even old enough to drive 😅. Yes, I look 4. Yes, I prescribe Accutane. No, my medical license was not printed on construction paper. Some of us are baby-faced forever

Some days I feel like I’m living in two different realities at once. In one, I get to be outside with my toddler, watching him laugh and chase bubbles in the sunshine. The purest kind of joy. In the other, I can’t stop thinking about what’s happening all around us — entire families being

I’m a board-certified dermatologist who believes skincare should be evidence-based and approachable, not overwhelming. As a millennial and toddler mom, I share what actually works for busy women who want results without the fluff. But I’m not just about skin. I’m also obsessed with quiet luxury and

As a board-certified dermatologist, these things make me die inside during skin checks 😭 PSA: Fresh tans make moles impossible to see, makeup blocks everything we need to examine, nail polish covers important nail changes, hairspray creates a helmet we can't move, and there's no such thing as a

Tell me you don't understand healthcare without telling me... I’ll take it further: if you support this administration, you shouldn’t be in healthcare. As a dermatologist who's seen the cognitive dissonance firsthand - cutting Medicaid and Medicare while claiming to "make America healthy again" is

RFK Jr. is a big proponent of peptide injections.

They aren’t tested, aren’t FDA-approved, recently caused two women to be hospitalized in critical condition, and make a shit ton of money for dishonest quacks who peddle them.

No wonder he loves them.
The trend of unproven peptides is spreading through influencers and RFK Jr. allies
More Americans are turning to peptides for muscle building, skin rejuvenation, and to try and live longer even though the substances aren’t FDA approved.

The confidence with which patients tell me these "facts" after their 3am WebMD deep dive is truly unmatched. As a board certified dermatologist, I promise you that having a mole since childhood doesn't make it immune to changes, and yes Karen, you absolutely need sunscreen even if you work from

Listen bestie, I see you in my office crying about your tretinoin purge but refusing to quit because you know the glow is coming. As a board certified dermatologist, I'm here to tell you that destroying your skin barrier in the name of anti-aging is not the vibe. Your retinoid journey doesn't have

Let down while I remember my health insurance depends on my husband staying alive and employed. If he loses his job, gets sick, or dies… I’m on the Marketplace. I’m a doctor. I could probably afford the premiums. Most people couldn’t. And Republicans are still trying to remove protections for

You're doing everything right with sunscreen but wondering why your skin still looks tired? As a board certified dermatologist, let me tell you about the aging factors that have nothing to do with UV rays. That nightly glass of wine is creating inflammation, your poor sleep schedule is preventing

I’m voting no on the continuing resolution that would double healthcare premiums for 20 million Americans, kick 15 million people off Medicaid & allow 50,000 Americans to die unnecessarily every year.

All to give $1 trillion in tax breaks for billionaires.

Sanders: if you vote yes, 15M Americans lose healthcare and 50K will die. Do you think it’s funny? Senate will not approve ACA and President would never sign it.

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.

We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.

A vote for this bill is a mistake.

Unacceptable. There are 189,000 people in my district who will be paying 50–300% more for the same, and in many cases worse, healthcare.

I won’t do that to the people I represent. I’m a NO on this “deal.”
