These aren't actually highlights in the shot of my game it's just fog getting crushed into the cel shading.

The nice smooth buttery fog of the 2nd picture
I think it might be worth the cost of an extra capture for the highest graphics setting🫣

Then:
1. Subtract the no-fog buffer from the main view texture.
2. Perform what ever post process you want on the no-fog buffer.
3. Re-composite(Add) the fog back in when you're ready.

Cel shading with fog. Boom. Right...😬

UE5.5 has a new feature where a scene capture can mirror the main view.

Ideally you'd replicate the main view in the scene capture with the fog show flag disabled(I couldn't replicate the colors 100% just yet so I fudge it)
