Extending the ILR term from 5 to anything higher, let alone 20, is a cruel measure. As in these extra years immigrants must pay NHS surcharges and renew visas. I can't believe this Labour government continues, and expands on, the cruelty of the previous Tory government.

Increasing the years you need to stay to obtain citizen from five to ten years was already immoral.

A Fairphone 5. It's from a Dutch company, focussed on sustainability. They guarantee them for 10 years. It runs stock Android, and no AI BS.
I have had one for over a year now, and it's been great. Not quite a top-level model, but still very capable.
