So I'm re-reading Martha Wells' Queen Demon (❤️💯!!) and something is nagging me abt the Arike horses. Fangs. Padded, clawed feet. Stalking/pouncing behavior. And the kicker: "...liked to bury their dung but tended not to be very good at it."

I have wondered for a while if the spike of... sheer wackiness in politics over the past 10-20 years had anything to do with Lead Children just reaching a particular majority.
