Going through the “Sea of Words” companion book to the Aubrey-Maturin series and obsessed with finding a recipe for this nautical delicacy:

So I completed NaNoWriMo but it was with mostly completing a 2.5 draft on my other novel. The one I started afresh in November needs more time at rest, to allow its yeast to feed on the sugars therein before I put it in the oven.
But oven it I shall. In January.

I was prepared for #NaNoWriMo with a good outline, etc. and then 3 days ago, I had a better idea to explore for it. Fortunately still have #Preptober to lay out the pieces and envision how they fit together.

Recently, I finished the first draft of a new novel.
I started the path of revisions for it, pulling a few books on writing off the shelf.
They each had only 5-10 pages on the revision process.

I thought ‘they must have never wrote a novel!!’

Then I put their novels back on the shelf. 😂
