There’s no reason to teach laypeople about every sequelae of metabolic syndrome. Most of these diseases, and MASH in particular, are just fructose toxicity. Teach people to stop eating added sugar and you won’t need to teach them any of these diseases.

The energy trajectory of AI data centers is more favorable than this. Training is very intensive but can be done offline during off peak and can utilize heat recapture. Inference has low latency reqs, but distillation is making it more energy efficient

I read it more cynically: cath labs are very good at harvesting reimbursable procedures, even though it doesn’t change outcomes relative to medical management. That’s a challenge for insurance coverage

Totally agree. Seems like a classic case of increase sensitivity of diagnosis not increased underlying signal.

Do you bake with zero calorie sweeteners or just bite the bullet with sugar? I’m also in the market for tips on which 0c sweeteners hold up better in baking

The legal definition of a refugee is largely at the discretion of the executive branch, as demonstrated by the recent revocation of that status for the groups you reference. True liberals, not rank partisans, support a broad definition of the term, not only when it applies to their preferred groups
