So, the ACCC found that MS had engaged in deceptive practices by forcing people onto the Co-pilot-enabled Office without explaining that they could stay with their non-AI version.

I got this email yesterday.

Note the highlighted part.

You *can* stay with the basic version... but it'll stay basic.

Trickle-down economics is bullcrap.

It's quite juvenile, but I still associate the word "shelved" with something one does with suppositories.

Therefore I read headlines like this with a smile.

I have nothing to add.

I saw something on FB... looks like there's an option to watch an endless stream of AI-slop videos.

Interested if anyone thinks that's a good idea.

I've said this many times, but in my view Essendon's problems stem from poor administration. They missed the move to professionalism around 2000 (things going so well on-field, no-one rocked the boat) that most of the competition started to embrace.

The issues transcend players, coaches...

Alternative headline "President voluntarily exits with controlled handover to forestall disruptive board challenge."

I'd say, without fear of contradiction, that the bulk of the people at the Charlie Kirk Memorial/MAGA Rally were effectively cheering the downfall of their own country.

A population of the credulous, ignorant and pissed-off... all radicalised to see enemies everywhere.

The USA is fucked.

I assume these are some the same "powerbrokers" that have been throwing their egos around behind the scenes at Essendon for the last twenty years (while the damage was being done).

To those people: The current state of play is what you wrought.

Leave them alone to clean up your mess.

Celebrating, at best, an agent provocateur and protecting his legacy this way is just fucking bizarre.

When you say "Quarantine"... I think of this.

From The Guardian.

Why would anyone write about that? It's like... meta-pointlessness.

Building a Lego model isn't a big deal and I gave up Lego collecting, but as a Soundwave collector I had to have a copy of my favourite Transformer in Lego form.

Pictures L-R: 1984 Pre-rub G1, Lego, 40th Anniversary Edition.

The Lego and 40th Ann aim to mimic the cartoon appearance.

I can't speak for The Guardian's coverage, but if you defended Biden's obvious mental deterioration then you don't really have a platform for critcising Trump's equivalent.

The AFL draft can be a bit of a crapshoot, we forgive recruiters for the occasional mistake and I don't like singling out players... but Essendon's 2022 draft was a massive miss... like an anti-bull's-eye. Literally anyone else from picks 6 through 11 would have been a better choice.

I'm reading the Transformers (Energon Universe, by Daniel Johnson) TPBs.

I've always preferred the Decepticons to the Autobots (going back to when I was a kid watching the cartoon). They're just more interesting characters. Optimus Prime (like Superman) is just *boring*.

I love a poorly-thought out name for something.

My favourite ever was the hashtag for Susan Boyle's (remember her) album release: #Susanalbumparty

What to do?

I have a solution: The Brownie Triangle.

A mark is placed on the triangle denoting the basic makeup of the internals of the brownie.

It could be a small card in the bakery window next to their brownies, or on the box of the packet mix.
