Yup, as much as the album's good, the live performance was something else. An amazing performance from "the goth Victor Meldew" and his young band. (Also, great support from Louise Connell.) As you say, it was a tad warm and humid in Stereo's vault; surprisingly/thankfully, not stinky though.

And if you're able see the man play live, take the opportunity to do so.

One of my panellists said (about heat pumps, but it also applies more broadly) that the domestic electrification transition is like the shift to indoor toilets. First reaction: I don’t have space, I don’t want that inside, that’s madness.

But once it’s there, it’s obvious it’s just better.
