I was at the game. Our annual memorial coach bus trip in honour of my uncle (wings fan) from our lil town in Lambton county, down to Detroit. Bus is usually 60-40 leaf fans and an awesome time. Ate at the Tin Roof before the game and had a blast as always inside LCA. The big W made it even better

The key point is I’m not debating. I pick sane fandom all day. You have to with this team. I’m not saying I’m not frustrated at times and can’t spot bad play when it’s happening. But I can’t be mad at them for winning. It’s Berube’s job to be mad at how they shouldn’t have, not mine

The key point is I’m not debating. I pick sane fandom all day. You have to with this team. I’m not saying I’m not frustrated at times and can’t spot bad play when it’s happening. But I can’t be mad at them for winning. It’s Berube’s job to be mad at how they shouldn’t have, not mine
But lights out goaltending isn’t one I’ve got to see in playoffs so hopefully that will help as well? Again my life is moderately affected by the results apart from the generic, low fruit, ribbings from coworkers lol

Me? I’m being a fan. Nothing analytically has worked for this team since the “core four era”. So I don’t know what to cheer for other than wins. Not to sh*t all over your valid point but i guess not analyzing for my job and just being a fan makes it easier to just say “let’s see what happens”

Been a die hard member of Leafs Nation for too many disappointing years lol. When it finally pays off tho, man will it be glorious, just hope I’m alive to see it lol. Cheers to level headed hockey fans no matter who they root for 🍻🏒

So more likely it was the Leafs organization. Either way it was awesome. The view of the tunnel, fist bumps, pointing to the fan he was giving the stick to. Just brought me back to the vibes of my youth. Playing in front of a crowd…x1000 lol. I can’t imagine the feeling on the big stage

The video posted of the POV from the camera in those glasses was just as rockstar. I’m assuming it was part of the Prime broadcast and if so, it just adds to the things they are doing so much better than Sportsnet and TSN. I’m ready for all games to be Prime games

I’ve seen so many of these types of games lost that it’s just refreshing to see them do what they should without any big dramatics involved. Good, solid goaltending is nice lol
