Sorry, gains in solar/wind generation do not equal progress. The goal is to reduce carbon emissions and renewable generation is a means to that end. If carbon emissions are not going down, we are not making progress. We all need to buy less and consume less.

Agree that sensible regulations are in order. These things are motor vehicles, and so are motorized scooters and skateboards. Yet in the city where I live, they are all over the sidewalks, I suppose because they don't want to be in the streets with cars. Pedestrians need to be safe somewhere!

It seems just a bridge too far for reporters and editors to use the words Lie or Racist. The cultural paradigm that valued such detachment has changed but mainstream journalism has not. The independents are carrying much more of the truth-telling load.
