“Guilty” isn’t really the right word. It’s not illegal to be a monopoly — just to use that monopoly to hurt others. And the injured parties (23XI/FRM) have been taken care of now, so it’s okay to go back to being just a monopoly.

Nah, I’m guessing teams didn’t really care about exclusivity & all that other stuff. Guessing things will mostly go back to the way they were before (with teams maybe having a little more power). And guessing the financial terms will never be disclosed so we won’t know how much this cost nascar.

Not that I kept score, but I don’t know a single race fan who was confused between SRX & NASCAR (other than apparently Phelps & OD).

Probably depends on what the judge does. If he blows the whole system up, they’re probably ticked off. If he gives 23XI/FRM a bunch of $, everybody gets permanent charters, and the ISC tracks get sold off, they’re probably cool (if a little jealous).

Haven’t listened yet. But don’t they get 3x damages? So even being awarded part of what they are seeking will cost nascar a pretty penny.

Judge said he wouldn’t force teams to take Penske out of order. So we won’t know if Penske magically becomes available after Monday until nascar starts their case.
