I love that Wednesday is my day off. So many people are like ‘wouldn’t you rather a Monday or Friday?’ But honestly Wednesday is so good. Gives me chance to stop and pause the hectic-ness and I feel like I get two ‘Friday feelings’

This article is a bit of a word salad but reminds me of when I stepped back from a curriculum leader role at a previous school. My role was readvertised as the same job but with ‘executive’ in front of the title. I was baffled. Same job, same pay but ‘executive’? Hated the word ever since.

On the whole feeling very optimistic about going back this week. I was on mat leave last year and not going back for September was weird. Love the fresh feel of the start of the year- new equipment, everything tidy and organised and not feeling utterly exhausted!
