but are you actually a liberal? belief systems evolve over time but people tend to continue using the same political label that they used before their opinions evolved, leading to inaccurate ideas of what that label means

Yes, that's why progressives support universal healthcare/socialized systems and liberals don't. Go find a liberal out in the wild and ask them what they think about Bernie Sanders and AOC they will tell you that they are lunatics who have no idea what they're talking about.

those are completely opposite. A progressive believes that people can & should be compelled to help their community. a liberal views personal liberty/freedom as the most important aspect, meaning they reject compelled policy.

Liberals, imo, are more concerned with maintaining staus quo & using band aids rather than address core issues. For this reason they hold us back and are an enemy of progress

I think all of this, including the Oct 7 attack, was orchestrated by Netanyahu as a way to distract from and postpone his corruption trial. While the attack was real, I think the fumble in intelligence and response was intentional to allow the attack to happen to justify escalation.

Iran denies Israel's claim that they fired missiles. Unfortunately, Israel can't be trusted so it's hard to know what the truth is immediately.

the Founding Fathers were bad people, not wise. you can't teach people to idolize slave owning, women hating, genocidal, rich, white, religious men who didn't want to pay taxes and then look shocked when those people support or mimic those ideals

I think it would help if we stopped romanticizing the Founding Fathers. they're no different than Bezos/Musk using their wealth to manipulate govt, avoid taxes, and cause suffering for their own benefit. we can't teach people they were good and then get mad at Bezos/Musk for doing the same thing

I dont see how it can be decentralized when we need nationwide regulation enforced. the people in NY don't know or understand what the people in California need. we also have proof that most Americans dont care & will not vote purely to help others so that's a lot of power to hand them as well.

under socialism you'd have a central government collecting the majority of resources & then distributing them across the country according to need. would you trust a Trump admin to be fair & impartial in determining that need & distributing resources fairly?

id argue we're actually trying to STOP the 2nd American Revolution right now. The rich want a revolution, the average person just wants things back to "normal". Under capitalism Trump can only control federal funding, under communism/socialism he'd control it all, so I'm wary of that.

The deployed National Guard would be made entirely of civilian California citizens. The line for civil war gets a little blurrier.

exactly. we cling to this notion that the Founding Fathers should be emulated but in reality they were, in general, slave-owning, racist, genocidal, women hating, Christian, rich, white men who didn't want to pay taxes. They were literally MAGA. The country isn't broken, it was founded on this.
