That is plainly a Pingiball game, not Pinball. 😂

Personally, I think the trap (for all but the hyperscalers) is selling the infrastructure rather than the support. The big customers are willing to pay to make sure things keep running smoothly and if you're saving them development and maintenance costs it's an easier sell than penny pinching usage.

Clearly the other alternative is dumm. Somehow that feels fitting.

Definitely a rabbit hole though. I ended up with 3 AMS to do multi material stuff. Currently making some holiday tchotchkes for the extended family 😁

I ended up getting the Bambu X1C and absolutely love it. It beats my modded Creality and is the closest things to an appliance I've had with 3d printing. Ended up starting to share timelapses (just because I find them mesmerizing) of the stuff I make for me and for the kids: youtube.com/@3depoll

Since getting into it I've been having fun making timelapses of the things I'm printing (for myself, for the kids, etc.): youtube.com/@3depoll

You can run local-only now -- you don't have to go through their servers.

I've gotten into the hobby in the last 2 years. It's not multi-extruder but can handle multiple materials for multicolor: Bambu X1C is what I've settled on and love it. Dramatically better experience than my old Creality and the closest things I've had to a "3d printing appliance" that just works.

Amazing story, beautiful artwork, a huge cast of well-developed characters, fantastic music, and classic jrpg gameplay about as polished as it ever got.

I know a ton of folks who love 7, but I think that's often a combination of nostalgia (it was the first PlayStation Final Fantasy and the first one in 3D, so it was the first one most people played... And it was a good game). But 6 is my favorite game of all time.

I've played FFVI top to bottom in just about every form it's ever been released in. The pixel remaster is my favorite version.
