I am in fact still alive and continue working on the #Pokemon #ImpossibleCreatures mod. I have finally sampled some audio clips for Pokemon creature vocals, some are better than others... For now I don't have that much new to show since its mostly going to be boring EBP file setup going forward.

The ugliest connections have been resolved, while there are some that still look horrid, I don't think I can realistically fix them in the #ImpossibleCreatures environment, so I will go with the mantra - "Why be good, when you can be good enough". Moving on to setting up the sounds for the #Pokemon.

Decided to change the way the second creatures legs attach to the #Voltorb body, now they attach at the bottom of its body rather than straight up at its sides. I like it better this way, #Gastly might receive the same treatment. #ImpossibleCreatures #Pokemon

Turns out - when one creature has a bipedal animation, the second creatures "arm" animations are ignored, and the first creatures arm animations take over... since Charmander has no "arm" limbs, I had to add extra bones to correct the angle of the Dodrio heads. #Pokemon #ImpossibleCreatures

Update on my self imposed mental asylum arc ( a.k.a. polishing the 20 #Pokemon combinations). I keep taking some creative liberties on the pokemon design, just so they combine better. Shellders head was pulled outside its shell a bit more, to reduce clipping as much as possible. #ImpossibleCreatures

Ok, here are the finished 20 #Pokemon models that will be in my #ImpossibleCreatures mod. Now the next step is to test and adjust the animations, if required, between the combinations, this will probably take quite some time as well...

Started to work on #Therizinosaurus mashed together limbs from velociraptor, brontosaurus and iguanodon to start out, since I have quite an array of limbs to pick from at this point.

Ok, got it rigged and got it to move. As it turns out henchmen have 32 animations... granted some of them are campaign specific, and some are alternatives - so I will skip some, but still yikes... #ImpossibleCreatures #Pokemon

Well... its textured and it can be placed inside Mission Editor, next step is to figure out if I can rig it for animation. Btw I think for now the game treats the Nurse model as a nature object - hence the "static shadows" compared to henchman lol. #Pokemon #ImpossibleCreatures

Exploring the possibility of replacing the henchman model with Nurse Joy for my #ImpossibleCreatures #Pokemon mod, since the series are filled with her clones (cousins), it makes sense in game. It looks to be a bit more complex than a creature model. Might end up a colossal waste of time - will see.

The 3 starter #Pokemon for my #ImpossibleCreatures mod. The funny thing I noticed - when animating them, its easy for me to make "bipedal walk" and "quadrupedal run" animations, but its hard for me to make "bipedal run" and "quadrupedal walk" animations... go figure.

Finally added #dimetrodon and #postosuchus boys to the mod. These marinated for way too long... hopefully the next additions wont take that long. I can already see the finishing line for the mod.

Since most #Pokemon don't posses anything even close to resembling a neck... the special animation that follows your viewport looks kind of bad even before the creature is combined (clipping). So I will probably just "break" this animation inside the Object editor so it becomes disabled. #Seaking

Had an idea to create a separate box object inside the torsos of all my #Pokemon creatures, so when you combo them with #Haunter the connections on the torso would be invisible. But that might have caused issues with the OG creatures... so I am going to take the simple route on this one as well...

I wanted to use a separate flame animation for #Ponyta and overlay it over other animations. But it seems to only work if creatures you combine with have the same animation in its file, or I just don't fully understand the tool... Anyway, I give up I will simply bake it in other animations by "hand"

Went with a very simple Dark blue + Orange combo for #Postosuchus for my #ImpossibleCreatures mod. Now on to rigging and animation.
