Looking forward to the day the UK, or its remnants, is a properly democratic (PR) republic within the EU.
So simple really. Do what the majority of voters (esp his) want:

Tackle tax fraud and evasion

Support the poor and sick

Create growth and have a sane policy on immigration by opening up to Europe

Tackle media bias

Introduce PR. Labour might have to share power but would always be in govt.

We have no chance of having a government that properly represents us without PR. Without it we will always have some kind of stitch-up.

Popularity sinking because they're heading in the wrong direction. So what do they do? Go harder and further in the wrong direction!

Some of us did.

There's a complete absence of what I have always thought of as 'British values' in the current Labour government. Such a lack of compassion and empathy.

They really are strangers as far as I am concerned.

'They don't'? Apart from the overwhelming majority of the population according to the polls.

Wrong on every count, apart from the fact my view of what the country needs probably isn't remotely like yours. Mine is to cut migration, boost business, employment and international influence by rejoining the EU.

A government that makes decisions on the basis of what's actually good for the country and not on spurious assumptions about what might or might not influence voters at the next election - still years away.

Don't think that'll work, either. It's just giving them more publicity and credibility in the eyes of the disaffected.

You need to stop governing like you're election campaigning and start governing according to what's right for the country, e.g. SM and CU minimum, FoM to reduce immigration, etc.

Odd, isn't it, that Australians and Canadians vote against Trumpism but, meanwhile, here in the UK, lots of people look at the US and think 'Yeah, I'll have some (more) of that!'

That was always Johnson's philosophy. Quite happy to sell anything, including himself, to the highest bidder.

It would finish them if Labour were not right in there promoting the same talking points, pursuing the same kinds of policies and playing right into the hands of Reform and the extremist wing of the Conservatives (all that's left).
