more specifically i guess a lot of the lyrics i write are just unnecessarily vague metaphors for things that have happened to me in my life and associations ive made bc i want to write about my feelings and experiences but not in a way thats Too Vulnerable

Shield is sort of the same but kind of different in the way that i think being Unemployed and stressing out really hard over making a longer (for me) project can be heard with kinda how messy the album is in terms of composition and mixing and all that. it wasnt on purpose and i dont love it but w/e

Strength to carry on was also largely about that, but it had a lot of anxiety about graduating college and trying to find a job, family members getting old, my dog getting sick... i think a lot of these kinda time-passing-and-changing related personal turmoils find their way into my songs

yea totally i mean every song is just kind of about what im going thru at the moment in my life. a lot of my music to me is about aging, the passage of time, life changing in new and uncomfortable ways, and the songs on Thank You were definitely written with that in mind
