I think we’re all suckers for a redemption arc, a Christmas Carol-like awakening of a moral sense. This ain’t that. Like the many attempts to rehabilitate Megyn Kelly, this is doomed to failure because these folks haven’t changed in any meaningful way or become self aware. Don’t be fooled.
