Not the first time we've embraced interventions without strong evidence. I'm skeptical that high flow has meaningful impact on patient-oriented outcomes. Based on the per protocol analysis in this trial, high flow does seem to reduce rates of hypoxemia (but this is a monitor-oriented outcome).
