I was annoyed with the giddy excitement on show from the likes of Chris Mason as he salivated at the prospect of a leadership challenge and wondered if the whole thing was a fishing exercise by the bbc. However its now obvious this has originated from inside No10. WTF is wrong with these people?

There's a nasty Robbie Gibb shaped cancer at the heart of the bbc that needs cutting out first if the patient is to be saved.

Its feels like bbc news have decided... if we make a lot of noise and hype it up as much as possible then something might just happen.

It feels a little convenient the Mason and Zeffman haven't stopped trying to stoke the story for all its worth since yesterday. With the BBC under pressure and the focus on Robbie Gibb amongst others. It all feels like a politically motivated distraction.

As long Mason and Zeffman are allowed to continue to pass themselves off as serious unbiased political journalists. The longer its going to take for the bbc to lose the totally reasonable perception that many have about their rightwing affiliations.
