This is an instance of a general tendency. With anything touching on higher ed the focus is on the types of schools most students don’t attend and most professors don’t work at.

We pretend to teach, they pretend to learn. Some people are ok with this.

Remarkable. I had grandparents in Sunnyvale back then—a pleasant place but not somewhere anyone was thinking would be home to a growing tech revolution. I remember Andy Capps.

A significant part of MAGA want things to go off the rails. It's what comes after Trump that they care about--his job is to help take down what they see as a failing social and political model. It's much more radical than a lot of people realize.

It felt like a landslide because in a sane world Trump would have gotten 10% of the popular vote. That he won cemented the fact that there’s been a cultural shift that is working against the left.

It is. The space for reactions to this horrible act that transcended politics closed almost immediately. He'll be known forever as martyr taken down by the intolerant left no matter what the facts turn out to be.
