I still use my Nikon DSLR occasionally but an iPhone is my primary camera. The worst thing about a smartphone camera is when I'm taking photos and the damn thing rings, beeps, twerps, or some other intrusion on my time.

My photo equipment/style
I have a Nikon DSLR, several lens, tubes, extenders, filters etc and I no longer carry it. Too big, too heavy, too much time wasted getting the hardware ready. My prime camera is my iPhone. Last Autumn I replaced an iPhone 12 with an iPhone 16ProMax.

I read books 📚. I have an Amazon/Kindle account. I read every night for a couple of hours. So far in 2025, I have read 22📗books. My Kindle stats show that I have read in the last 213 consecutive days and within the last 92 weeks. I haven't watched TV 📺 since the beginning of the year, and I'm happy.

Not in the hospital.
Thanksgiving 2023 I was on my 8th day in the hospital for an intestinal blockage. I had a diet of ice chips for 7 days, on Thanksgiving I graduated to Jello and chicken broth. I went home on Friday and no problems since.
