About AI agents... why did we start calling them agents? Haven't we learned anything from The Matrix?!

I don’t have a lot of followers, but for those who follow me: would you be interested in a webinar style demo of Scenebrook, our no code VR platform? We’ll be discussing an overview of scene building, lighting, interaction, animation, physics, logic and more. Let me know. Would love to host it. ❤️

Proud @ Scenebrook-team. 👏 We released media collections, dynamic thumbnail generation, templates, object placement, new gizmo tool and a big performance boost while reducing memory usage. 💯

Will release a lot of collections and templates in coming weeks.

I love how I want everything dark mode, except Wikipedia. Wikipedia is light mode. Full stop.

Web Shortcuts. A small feature, but for Scenebrook it really is a big one.

Not that I think meta will win the competition, but this shows the future is XR. In 10 years everyone is wearing glasses.

Okay Bluesky! I was notified today that Bluesky is an echo chamber. So! I expect everyone to agree with my posts from now on.

The 2.7 million GPU hours and 6 million dollar cost figure is about DeepSeek V3. NOT DeepSeek R1. V3 is far less performant, as they say themselves in the R1-paper. Also, the costs only cover the final training, not development! So please stop saying that they trained R1 for just 6 million dollars.

Look. I’m fully aware of the risks, the ethical issues and potential societal challenges, but as a nerd I f’ing love AI. Have been for years, long before it was cool.

The weather outside is frightful and the fire so delightful, but since I set a daily 8k stepgoal I need to go outside and walk.

If you want true decentralisation of the internet, docs about self hosting federated services shouldn't be filled with bash commands. Adding your own storage to the network should be just as easy as installing an app on your phone.

Been playing with ComfyUI all. Generating, upscaling, face swapping and inpainting.

Having a few days off during winter days always defaults me back to using the computer for fun rather than work. I love my life as a working father, but as a student you have so much more time to explore.
