You don't even need to learn a programming language to get started these days. Pick an engine you like the look of and watch tutorials on YouTube or structure courses if you can afford them. I highly recommend gamedev.tv. Unity or Godot for 2D or 3D. UE5 for 3D, avoid UE if you want to do 2D.
