It's such a large debate to have on just that one character! I spent ages thinking I had him pinned as Esper or Sultai too! Different points in his character arc also reflect different things. Could the mad science really be Izzet? But what about the "at all costs" vibe? Saving his people? White?

I wonder to what extent its just a childhood persuasion. Being unable to sleep when my parents went to bed as no one was "guarding" the house. The world is vulnerable if we are all asleep. Its very lonely and scary. Oh well, wanted to get this out there somehow. It's a close feeling.

I wonder if some of the appeal of Runescape, and ig online spaces generally, is that you find the life when your own world stands still. I want to compact it down into a little box to have that world with me. That little world that doesn't sleep, where the shops dont close on Sunday afternoons.

Even as an adult that knows the world never really sleeps, having worked early shifts, having been to venues open all night, I never shook that state of feeling. To this day I still have dreams of finding things that have always been there but never found. Hidden floors in houses, secret streets

I guess we'll have to be content with using git locally for version control and implement some other backup utility. Would having the whole repo inside a local cloud/dropbox/drive directory work for straight-up protection? 🤔

On some level, I feel like it's an outcome of voter suppression. The fewer potential electorate with an opposing view have means to educate themselves and function politically, the better.
