While you technically have 3 years to become fully compliant, if your software product is currently on the market in Europe and in use, there is just no getting out of it. That's why at @crabnebula.dev we are already providing support for select customers, and helping them prepare their CE Marking.

If this is news to you, you need to know that Software is now a product in Europe, which brings with it the requirements of maintaining a declaration of conformity and supporting the product for a minimum of five years. If you are not a European company, you will need an Authorised Representative.
