Today we honor Karl Kießwetter (1930-2019) - a founder of the William-Stern-Gesellschaft - at a Gedenkkolloqium in Hamburg. He was pivotal in empowering mathematically gifted children in Germany, catering to their unique needs often against the zeitgeist of his time.
