Last year in the Arctic Circle was the 2nd warmest since 1900. The nine warmest years have been the last nine years.

The Arctic tundra is now a net emitter of greenhouse gases, not a sink.

New from Chen et al on extreme climate event risks to natural World Heritage sites under four scenarios. Only SSP126 (Paris 1.5C) avoids major impacts. Heat stress & compound climate stresses are particular threats for biodiversity.
