Yes. I’m worried about this too. And it takes away access to a vaccine that many would use to avoid an extra poke!

I’m a pediatrician who is very pro vaccine, but in general in our large suburban practice we use the MMR and Varivax at 1 and use MMRV at 4. There is a slight increase in febrile seizure seen with the combo product in 1 year old but not really in the older age group.

Wow-impressive work. I’m going to save this. Working hard this week to find ways to get Moderna in my pediatric practice for the small but passionate group of families who understand the benefits for my tiny patients.

😢 awful! We licensed the first version of pertussis vaccine on 1914. Our grandparents and great grandparents had access to it!
