Yes. I’m worried about this too. And it takes away access to a vaccine that many would use to avoid an extra poke!

I’m a pediatrician who is very pro vaccine, but in general in our large suburban practice we use the MMR and Varivax at 1 and use MMRV at 4. There is a slight increase in febrile seizure seen with the combo product in 1 year old but not really in the older age group.

😢 awful! We licensed the first version of pertussis vaccine on 1914. Our grandparents and great grandparents had access to it!
