Nor does the presence of SRY mean there is also a Y chromosome. SRY can jump to the X chromosome and, when fully functional, result in a fully masculinized XX fetus.

13 years ago, I was presenting on Transgender Workplace Inclusion in London and then in 2025, I am fighting for survival against erasure in the United States.

This can alienate potential allies and escalate tensions rather than seek practical solutions. Selective Evidence: Gender Criticals often cherry-pick data—like physical differences in sports or crime stats—to support their views while downplaying studies on gender dysphoria or the benefits of trans-affirming care. Moral Absolutism: The ideology sometimes veers into moralizing, portraying transgenderism as inherently harmful or delusional. This shuts down dialogue and risks dehumanizing trans individuals. Neglect of Intersectionality: It often centers white, cisgender women’s experiences, sidelining how race, class, or other factors intersect with gender and oppression, limiting its broader applicability. These flaws don’t negate its concerns about biology or sex-based protections, but they undermine its ability to engage constructively with a complex issue.

The importance of treating Trans Youth w/ puberty blockers is to avoid treating them as Adults with expensive surgery to remove the effects of puberty.

No child should need facial surgery as an adult because a politician needed] a moral panic to control their voters.
