3/? All of that said, I spent my formative years watching the evening news with my parents and every single time there was story about welfare in the 80s, they would get the same stereotype for people receiving welfare funds. Young, single black mother (usually a dark-skinned Black woman).

2/? Ironically, the poster woman for all of this welfare fraud wasn't even Black. But that is irrelevant when you have a fascist mindset, which Reagan did. Her name was "Linda Taylor" whose race at the time of birth was listed as white.
