Today, my thoughts are with those who are possibly facing being forced out of the home they love, forced to be separated from those they love, forced to leave the country they were born in and know as home.

I have decided to lite a blue candle every day for the next four years. A reminder of what I believe in, a reminder to have hope for the future no matter what it looks like at the present moment and a reminder that anything worth having takes work.

Current status. The fuzzy thing in the “front” of the pic is Mocha’s paw. She placed it on my hand.

I am tired. Tired of recent events and what they mean about people as a whole. It has taken about two weeks to figure out I need to nest. I need to create the life I want and to hell with worrying about things to come. At least for right now. So I cleaned out a hall closet and I am feeling peaceful.
