Alka-Seltzer went on sale for the first time in 1931, introduced by the Dr. Miles Medicine Company in Elkhart, Indiana. It was developed after a flu epidemic and was originally intended to help prevent colds and flu, but it also served as an antacid and pain reliever for headaches & indigestion

Some landmarks guide us.

Some remind us.

Some simply stay with us.

The quiet strength of Hook Lighthouse.

The familiar chime of Shandon Bells.

Kish Lighthouse standing watch.

Poolbeg’s chimneys marking home from miles away.

On this day in 1963, The Beatles appeared on the Morecambe & Wise show. Their appearance is memorable for their give and take with the comedy duo, donning the outfits you see here 👇 and singing Moonlight Bay. The Beatles said this was one of their favourite TV appearances

It's all about the cleavage!!! 😏 (Yes — still stone)

Slate’s natural layers (slaty cleavage) give it strength — so we use only the best slate.

Good morning from Holly and me out for our walk this morning. Insomnia meant we were out very early and we caught the Christmas lights. Holly posed beside the tree.
It was a frosty morning but we saw the dawn. Not much of a sunrise due to the clouds.
Have a lovely Sunday everyone. #DecorationDay
