Agreed Kathleen! We all have to vote with where we spend our time, money, & attention. CBC is still active on IG as well and that in my mind is just as bad! We need to build better alternatives and encourage others to join us there. I am (somewhat) patiently waiting for @gandersocial.bsky.social

We need to organize, communicate, build community together with a vision. Do you want to have a video call one day to just have a chat!? There are some groups out there but we need more efforts to help the polite Canadians, quiet / more introverted people out there to stand up safely together.

Beautiful! Do you know if there is anywhere in/around Prince George that is part of the Dark Sky program? I did some work with a community in the Okanagan that was striving to be certified and I loved the initiative and learned so much about lighting, stargazing, and birds and bugs. 😊
