I keep enjoying using Strudel. Feels like being a kid trying Basic for the first time haha

My tiniest task manager. I like the idea of a task bucket, you drop in random stuff you need to do, and when you have time, you pull one out and do it. I just made a small local app for this. Adding tasks is easy at any moment with a hotkey. I really love minimalistic apps haha

I just opened the repo of my tiny horror game that runs in the terminal. You can play it with python.

Story: in the 80s, a deep cave was found but couldn't be explored. A robot was sent 3km down. You're the engineer controlling it from the surface.

Wanted to try something new. I like that it's that simple, mostly just sine waves, and only 29 lines of code. Shifting arpeggio notes 4 chords behind was accidental, but turned out surprisingly well and I kept it.

First time trying Strudel. Spent half a day reading docs and playing around. So fun!

Also I love the McCulloch interview, I think it aged so well, go watch it.

Apparently, Midjourney is unaware of the "brain rot" term. Who would've thought it'd be the last aesthetic humanity kept organic. The frontier of human culture if you will.

I gotta finish this mf to complete my set of Notion #gamedev tools!! This is basically everything I've learned in 7 years of managing game development. All my HP went into this XP.

A full workspace for teams to build a game in peace. Hoping to finish it soon and find some indies to test it for free

I've been shooting film since 2018, but I've never tried to grow an audience for my photos. I think that was a mistake, this support could really help me in life.

So, I invite everyone who loves #filmphotography to my Instagram: instagram.com/denisbondare

This is the Pixel World, a small 64x96 2D simulation populated with AI creatures making their own decisions to survive.

They explore, gather resources, build, talk with each other.

There's no scripted behavior model. Just a prompt with a list of actions, short memory, current state, world info.

'The White Ship' by Chingiz Aitmatov

Aitmatov is a true gem in the world of literature. His beautifully written works immerse you from the very first pages, delving into social issues and telling unique stories about small ethnic groups. Emotional, nostalgic, profound.

'The Trial' by Franz Kafka, 1925

Well. You know it. But if you still haven't read it, it's a big miss. It's both terrifyingly real and utterly surreal. Reading it makes you physically and mentally uncomfortable in a very unique, unforgettable way. But you just must read it.

'Beauty Is a Wound' by Eka Kurniawan, 2002

A magical realism masterpiece, tightly packed with lives and stories, set in Indonesia during WWII and the Japanese occupation. A unique mix of history and wild folklore. If you like Gabriel García Márquez, you’ll love this!

'Moscow to the End of the Line' by Venedikt Yerofeyev, 1973

Satirical, surreal, and poetic in its own way, this novel takes you on a drunken journey from Moscow to Petushki, a small town where a man believes paradise awaits. The sad essence of Soviet life for some.

'Solaris' by Stanisław Lem, 1961

This might surprise you, but it's the best book on love I’ve read so far. It touched me immensely and made me reflect a lot. A lot. A science fiction novel about a mysterious, seemingly sentient planet far in space.

'Things Fall Apart' by Chinua Achebe, 1958

A powerful, eye-opening novel about the clash of cultures and the impact of colonization, told through the eyes of an insider. Ethnically rich, deeply personal, and very captivating. Just recalling it stirs something inside me.

Game devs, what was the first game that made you think, “This is what I want to create someday”?

For me, it was definitely Flashback on the old Sega Mega Drive.
It was such a masterpiece—unlike anything else I'd played before. I still remember all the SFX from it vividly.

AI Playground

This little beast was created not too long ago. I wish we had it earlier! It's basically a whole team of AI game dev experts. Yes. They help you refine your idea, advise on art style, code architecture, and game design. Super powerful but super simple.

Game Jam Room

This tool evolved from our first experience with Notion, which we used to organize everything super quickly for a two-day game jam. It was a lot of fun, and we completed our project on time!

Game Ideas Workshop

This nice tool helped us to brainstorm game ideas, write concepts, compare and rate them, and eventually decide on our next project. The best melting pot for ideas.

Asset Management System

This was incredibly useful for large projects with lots of sprites, models, sounds, and VFX. It helped keep everything organized in teams up to 50 people, greatly simplifying the tracking of our assets and making sure they were made on time.
