975 spots each generating $25/day is lile $24k/day in revenue. Google-fu suggests operating a Sydney bus costs say $8/km, so it buys... 3,000km/day?

You could probably run a bus within walking distance of every house serviced by the station every 10 minutes all day?

Free parking is stupid.

Is it expected that the top badge for all of these (but not earlier tiered challenges) is showing as locked ATM despite being completed? Hopefully this doesn't prevent the wings?

Yeah... Bondi Burgers...

Is the repo of the Android app itself public at the moment?

The main thing I'd want for my pre-order PT2 is Health Connect integration so that steps can sync between wearables/ecosystems, and I can switch between a presumably-still-WIP Pebble and other devices without missing a step (lulz).

Getting from Railway Square to the Central metro platforms is pretty frustrating and stupid?

You start basically on top of the platforms, but have to do a ¾ lap of the station through either the country terminal or the tunnel to actually get to it.

Awesome! Having to do it by van transfer last year sucked.

Love it!

Was in Porto Alegre for a few days after the AUSvNLD game and the atmosphere around the city in the build up to the ARG game (incl. the Fan Fest for their earlier Iran match) was one of the highlights of the trip.

Not in my lifetime though, and I'm approaching 40.

I'd much rather privatise and actually realise infrastructure than the alternative.

Happy for someone to show a third way, but Minns isn't that, and Sydney can't afford another lost decade like the 00s.

Metro + West Link + Trams > Poles + Wires.

Because 1995-2011 NSW ALP, and Minns announcement this week that there will be no transit infrastructure beyond the roadmap they inherited from the privatisation-friendly LNP, proves that rolling out necessary infrastructure is impossible without it?

The models themselves aren't "middlemen". Nobody's training and deploying models in real-time to zero-shot news unreliably at huge $$. The same info could be RAG-ed into the context window of established models far more accurately and cheaply. Info producers become paid (by user count?) RAG sources?

Sounds good.

I'd be very happy with a future where my distro handles the base (Open Source!!) IDE install and my subscription unlocks premium features as plugins.

Google Maps puts "East Newcastle to Newcastle Interchange" as 14 minutes by light rail or 39 minutes walking.

"Circular Quay to Central" is 36 minutes walk and 20 by light rail (but really you get the city circle).

Doesn't seem bad?

QF? I watched it for the first time on the way *to* Perth.

Hated the first third. Dragged on, super clichéd, I so nearly gave up. Then the characters evolved beyond tropes, they actually put some meat on the story, and it won me over by the end.

If we MUST stick to recycling IP, this I can do.

Fair. On my feed you were in a stack of posts taking this thing far too seriously.

Why disappointing? Sounds like they're giving this tournament the respect it deserves.

> The “high-street” style layout of the area makes you think there might be some cute local gems - but no. Just another Chemist Warehouse and a Nandos, baby. Bella Vista… well I don't know why I got off here.

Should've gone to Bella Vista Frangos.

Might've been better off to face an A team with nothing to play for going through the motions than a B team desperate to prove themselves.
