This perfectly sums up the cacophony of amateur WX YouTube guys trying to divine the weather. I watch them prognosticating and even follow a couple, but only believe what my local NWS peeps tell me.

Nothing quite like the eccentricities of elderly cats. My 17 year old Meezer has taken to walking around my head when I’m seated in a comfy chair. He’ll stop right in front of my face, blocking my view of what I’m doing. I don’t mind. I can pause what I’m doing. He will get his cuddles and love.

Advent calendars take on many forms. This one is from Nippon Kodo, a maker of fine Japanese incenses since 1575. Each day holds a tube of different incense. Today’s was copal.

So envious! I saw a distant glow from that one- missed the main show. My friends got some decent shots.
