Holy catfish, one more positive thing: speaking of Mr. Jim "Crocker" Loves Games, have you played in his Batman reskin of The Final Girl? In it, he takes the slasher and makes it Batman, taking down an assortment of supervillians until there is only one left. It's done in B:TAS style.

Heading to Burlington, VT, this weekend. Will try to get a good picture of the historic marker that commemorates the removal of the filthy Italians from the city.

Many moved here from Italy with hopes to build better lives. Some worked in the lumber mills and railroad yards that bordered the lake. In the process, they created a community of over 140 homes, lush gardens, thriving businesses, community social centers, and Catholic schools and churches. In the 1960s this area became the center of Vermont's largest urban renewal project. The final hone was razed in 1968. Displaced families were scattered into the outskirts of Burlington. In place of this one vibrant family neighborhood stands a dynamic downtown district, internationally known as a social and economic center of Vermont."

Not only will I be watching Tremors this coming evening, I just discovered that Finn Carter, the actor who played Rhonda, the seismologist, (and third lead) in the film, will be in attendance with a Q&A!
