I doubt it. The man doesn’t seem to know he currently has a political career.

You know the region well, Senator. Why did the New England border states do this? It makes no sense.

They’re the Washington Generals losing to the Globetrotters every night.

Don’t forget republicans and the news outlets blaming the democrats for not coming to the negotiating table sooner.

They’ll call her an “activist judge” while praising 6 justices who completely ignore state decisis so long as it serves their activist master Leonard Leo.

Also trump’s DOJ is referencing books by Dennis Prager to the court?

He is the cofounder of Prager U whose mission includes “to serve you with free content that helps people of all ages think and live better while upholding Judeo-Christian values.“

What’s happening here, folks?

@jsweetli.bsky.social has been on this story for months. Follow that account. This isn’t new. It is just now getting the attention it should have gotten months ago if anyone cared to listen.

If I were a reporter, I’d be asking Pam Bondi what the motivating factor in reviewing this guilty plea was.

Now, look closely at the two posts below. Please look at the language used. “The good ‘ole USA“ phrase in trump’s post looks so close to evidence from the Smirnov case, it could be its doppelganger. He used this phrase no less than 5 times this year since February26. One month after inauguration.

Smirnov wanted to retract his plea, and be released. The judge asked if the likely outcome would be going to trial.

Umm..yeah. That’s *if* the trump DOJ brought the case against him again. Which, who knows if they would. I mean they agreed to let him out of prison after reviewing the case.

For some reason, trump’s DOJ decided to review the case and then entered an agreement to release him.

This is the transcript of a hearing on the very issue of Smirnov’s release. Seriously, this is crazy.
