People will shrug their shoulders so long as nothing goes wrong with a big crypto firm. But if there is a crypto crash or a crypto scandal, this will help the public establish clear accountability. As Harry Truman said, “The bitcoin stops here.” Kudos to @seamushughes.bsky.social and colleagues.
Under Trump, the SEC has eased up on more than 60% of the crypto cases that were ongoing when he took office in January.

Many of the firms that benefited from the leniency had financial ties to the Trump family.

The SEC is no longer pursuing any cases against crypto firms with Trump ties.
The S.E.C. Was Tough on Crypto. It Pulled Back After Trump Returned to Office.

Time to admit they don't have a case. This is just embarrassing for the “Justice” Department under Pam Bondi.

Remember this Christmas, if someone buys a $25 gift for you, and they make minimum wage, they paid 2-3 hours of their life to get you that gift. Be humble. Gifts don't have to cost much to have value.

Paramount is launching a hostile takeover to own Warner Bros for $108.4 billion.

Larry Ellison will control TikTok, Paramount, Warner Bros, CNN, CBS, HBO, and almost every major cable channel.

This will be the most dangerous media consolidation in American history.

A Paramount-Warner Bros. merger would be a five-alarm antitrust fire.

Not to mention it's backed by a who's who of Trump buddies and foreign money.

The government's review of any deal needs to be based on the law and facts — not who sucked up the most to Donald Trump.

Time to award Trump the “Potemkin Peace Prize,” for “agreements” that purport to end a conflict but in fact do nothing of the sort. See under: Gaza, DRC/Rwanda, Thailand/Cambodia, etc.
