For the fourth straight game, a Toronto Maple Leafs player has taken a shot to the head on a play where a penalty should have been called. The names Francois Charron and Gord Dwyer are becoming way too commonly heard these playoffs. This is embarrassing for the sport of hockey.

I swear that 90% of all Florida Panthers hits these #StanleyCupPlayoffs could be penalties if the referees called the rule book, head hunting, extended arms, elbowing, it feels like one could be called and there could be no argument because you can clearly see why the penalty is being called.

My frustration levels with NHL referees is at a fever pitch. Game 1 between Florida and Toronto was god awful officiating from the first penalty. The Panthers looked like they took coaching tips from Carney's Liberal commercial with #ElbowsUp on every hit they threw and yet rarely were called.
