A young black man got arrested on my front steps last week. He was crying out for help and scared. I grabbed my phone and ran outside and recorded it. Grabbed his bike and held it for him. The cop was aggressive. I got scared speaking up but I did. Kid just came for his bike. I'm so glad he's okay.

I'm told it's almost my turn on our housing waitlist. To leave this city and go somewhere clean and safe NW. Walking outside here makes me so sad. It's gotten so bad here. Maintenance has made INSIDE the home feel just as unsafe. I've been waiting for the good news and packing boxes slowly.
